Our Rosemary and Black Pepper OH GHEE is made from the milk of grass-fed cows in Oregon and pure organic rosemary oil. Our ghee has a smooth texture, decadent, slightly nutty flavor, and is golden color.
We craft our ghee in small batches, careful to remove all trace of milk solids and proteins to ensure we are left with only the most decadent butterfat that provides many health benefits. Ghee is considered a superfood that contains omega 3, 6, and 9 essential fatty acids, 18 amino acids, 8 enzymes, 25 minerals, vitamins A, D, E & K, and is one of the highest natural sources of CLA (conjugated linoleic acid). Its unique triglyceride profile made up of short, medium, and long-chain fatty acids make ghee a highly lipophilic superior carrier fat to transport herbs and nutrients deeper into the tissue layers of the body.
Rosemary oil ads an earthy herbiness, great for spreading on bread, baking into biscuits, or braising meats. You can use this product wherever you would use butter or oil. It is perfect for making your homemade baked goods. You can substitute it for butter or oil in any recipe. We recommend using a 1:1 substitution of OH GHEE for oil and a .75:1 substitution ration of OH GHEE for butter.
